This project was completed to support our local first responders at Local 1941. The goal was to take the union's classic emblem and transform it into a new version for use on on member apparel and community gear.
Enhanced Visibility for Community Events
By utilizing an elongated hexagonal shield, the new mark maintains a sense of authority while significantly improving legibility from a distance. The final identity includes a high-contrast version for light apparel and a specialized "dark mode" variant for black clothing, which the union has adopted as their primary choice for community events.
